  • Sundarbans are a part of the world’s largest delta, formed by the mighty rivers Ganga, Brahmaputra and Meghna. Situated on the lower end of Gangetic West Bengal, the Sundarbans is criss-crossed by hundreds of creeks and tributaries. It is one of the most attractive and alluring places remaining on earth, a truly undiscovered paradise. Apart from being a unique largest mangrove eco-system of the world, the Sundarbans has the world’s largest deltaic mangrove forests and is also home to one of India’s most iconic wildlife species – the Royal Bengal Tiger.
Day 01: Kolkata/Sundarban Tiger Reserve:

• Drive to Gothkhali Jetty (approx. 3hours journey) to board a boat to reach Sundbans (approx. 2 ours ride). Sundarbns is the largest mangrove forest in the world with a large concentration of Royal Bengal Tigers. Some 78 species of mangroves are recorded across the forest. This wonderful biosphere reserve houses many rare and endangered animals including aquatic mammals, tigers, birds and reptiles.

• On arrival check at our resort. Afternoon depart by boat to Sajnekhali Tiger Project Area for viewing Wild life, Sajnekhali Museum, Mangrove Interpretation Centre & Watch Tower.
Day 02: Sunderbans Tiger Reserve :

• Boat Cruise inside creeks and dense forest (breakfast on boat during cruise) through numerous rivers while visiting Dobanke – the caged canopy walkway inside the forest.

• Also visit the Spotted Deer Rehabilitation Centre.
• After which we cruise through Matla Sea Face (the point from where Bay of Bengal can be seen) – back through the 5 river junction – to Pitchkhali.
• Later promenade around the neighboring village to interact with the Local Community at a typical Sunderban settlement to understand their local Art, Culture and Way of Life (how man and tiger coexist in such a difficult terrain.)
Day 03: Depart Sunderbans Tiger Reserve:

• Return to the hotel for lunch and then board the boat to Gothkhali.
• On arrival drive to Kolkata where your tour concludes.
  • The above rates are not valid from 27 to 30 September &24 December to 31 December, 2017.
  • Accommodation using an a/c cottage on twin sharing basis at the Tiger Camp.
  • All meals &evening snacks.
  • Services of trained local naturalist/guide.
  • Transfer from city hotel in Kolkata/ Gothkhali/ Kolkata by an air-conditioned CAR with driver.
  • Park Entry fees and other incidental charges.
  • Cruise in exclusive motorized boat for 03 days in the creeks &forest.
  • All present applicable taxes.
  • Any expenses of personal nature such as laundry, drinks (alcoholic &non alcoholic),
  • phone calls, Tips at hotels/restaurants/guides and chauffeur, still &video camera charges etc.
  • Forest department charges (camera/video/movie camera fees etc.)
  • Air tickets to India and back, India Visa fees and travel insurance etc.
  • Any domestic air tickets.
  • Any expenses caused by reasons beyond our and our associate offices control such as flight delays, rescheduling or cancellations, any accidents, medical evacuation riots, strikes, political unrest, natural disasters etc.
  • Any other taxes or service charges that could be enforced during travelling period will be extra and needed to be borne by the guests.
