Buddhist Tour
Itinerary No. 1
Day 01: : Arrival Delhi : Welcome to
India. Assistance on arrival at the airport and transfer to
the hotel (Accommodation available from 12 Noon). Overnight at
the hotel.
Day 02 : Delhi Sightseeing : Morning
proceed for Sightseeing tour of Old & New Delhi visiting Red
fort, Jama Masjid (the Large Mosque), Raj Ghat (Mahatma
Gandhi’s memorial site) India Gate, President & Parliament
house, drive through the diplomatic area, Humayun’s tomb,
Qutab Minar etc. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 03 : Delhi / Patna : Morning
assistance on departure at the hotel and transfer to airport
to board flight ( IC 809 dep. 1005 hrs / arr. 1305 hrs ) to
Patna. Assistance on arrival at Patna airport and transfer to
the hotel. Later in the afternoon half day sightseeing tour of
Patna city visiting Patna Museum, Khuda Baksh Oriental Library
, Golghar etc. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 04 : Patna / Nalanda / Rajgir /
Bodhgaya: Morning proceed for Bodhgaya by surface , where
Lord Buddha gained enlightenment. En-route visit Nalanda,
which was the great centre of Buddhist learning about 1000
year ago and Rajgir where the fist Buddhist Council was held
after Buddha attained Nirvana or enlightenment. On arrive in
Bodgaya transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight at the hotel.
Day 05 : Bodhgaya / Varanasi:
Morning visit the Temples and Monasteries at Bodhgaya. Later
in the afternoon drive to Varanasi by surface. Upon arrival
check into the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at
the hotel.
Day 06 : Varanasi : Morning proceed
for city tour of Varanasi, visiting Bharat Mata temple,
Banaras Hindu University, Vishwanath Temple, Hanuman Temple,
and Old City market. Later excursion to Sarnath where Gautam
Buddha preached his first sermon after the enlightenment. Rest
of the day at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 07 : Varanasi / Delhi departure:
Early morning boat rides on the holy river Ganges to view the
sunrise where the Hindus perform their morning prayers.
Assistance on departure at hotel and transfer to the airport
to board flight (9W 724 dep. 1440 hrs / arr. 1600 hrs) to
Delhi. Upon arrival departure at Domestic Airport and transfer
to International airport to board flight for onwards
destinations.

Day 01 : Calcutta – Meeting and assistance on arrival at
airport and transfer to hotel. (accommodation available from
12:00 noon). Afternoon sightseeing tour of Calcutta.
Day 02 : Calcutta/Patna/Rajgir –
Transfer to airport to board flight to Patna. Upon arrival
drive to Nalanda (98 Kms.). After sightseeing continue your
drive to Rajgir (13 Kms.). On arrival check into hotel, later
sightseeing tour of Rajgir, overnight at the hotel.
Day 03 : Rajgir/Bodhgaya – Drive to
Bodhgaya (86 Kms.). On arrival transfer to hotel. Afternoon
visit the Mahabodhi temple. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 04 : Bodhgaya/Varanasi – Drive
to Varanasi (234 Kms.). On arrival transfer to hotel.
Afternoon sightseeing tour of Sarnath.
Day 05 : Varanasi/Delhi or Katmandu
– Early morning boat ride and visit to the Ghats. Assistance
on departure at hotel and transfer to airport to bord flight
for Delhi / Kathmandu. (End of the services).

Day 01 : Calcutta – Arrive Calcutta. Assistance on arrival
at airport and transfer to hotel (accommodation available from
12:00 noon).
Day 02 : Calcutta/Patna/Rajgir/Bodhgaya
– Transfer to airport to board flight to Patna, upon arrival,
drive to Bodhgaya en-route visiting Nalanda and Rajgir. On
arrival transfer to hotel.
Day 03 : Bodhgaya/Varanasi – Morning
sightseeing tour of Bodhgaya. Afternoon drive to Varanasi. On
arrival transfer to hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 04 : Varanasi – Morning boat
ride and visit to the Ghats. Afternoon sightseeing tour of
Sarnath.
Day 05 : Varanasi/Gorakhpur –
Morning drive to Gorakhpur via Kushinagar (265 Kms.). On
arrival transfer to hotel.
Day 06 : Gorakhpur/Lumbini/Balrampur
– Morning drive to Lumbini. After sightseeing, continue drive
to Balrampur. On arrival transfer to hotel.
Day 07 : Balrampur/Lucknow/Delhi –
Morning sightseeing tour of Sahet-Mahet. Continue drive to
Lucknow airport. Fly to Delhi. On arrival transfer to the
International airport.
Day 08 : Delhi – Full day
sightseeing tour of Delhi. Afternoon transfer to the
International Airport to board flight for onward journey (end
of the services).
